This is the start of something useful. Or at least we hope so.
The plan with this blog is simple. Each week we publish one honest piece about the stuff business owners actually wonder about when they think about their website. What it should cost. Why it isn’t getting leads. Whether to switch from Wix. Whether to hire an agency. What to do when your designer ghosts you. The kind of questions you’d ask a friend who knows websites, if you had one.
Why we’re writing this
Most articles about web design are written for other web designers. They use words like “leverage” and “synergy” and they’re optimized for impressing Google more than informing humans. The result is a thousand pages saying nothing useful, and a real business owner trying to figure out a real problem leaves more confused than they started.
We figured we’d just write the thing we wished existed when we were starting out. Specific. Honest. Numbers when numbers help. No fluff.
What you can expect
A new post every Monday. Sometimes a teardown of a real website. Sometimes a question we get asked all the time. Sometimes the boring technical stuff about SEO that nobody else explains in plain English.
If something here helps you, share it with someone else who needs it. If something here is wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we’ll fix it.
That’s it. Welcome.
